
Medical Assistant
A busy othopedic practice is searching for a reliable experienced orthopedic medical assistant to perform various office and clinical duties that keep our healthcare practice running efficiently. You will work directly with the office staff to interview patients and document basic medical history. Other jobs and tasks will include:
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update medical records
- Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
- Assist during medical examinations
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- And keep the flow of the clinic

You must have knowledge of
- Orthopedic terminology
- Wound care, which includes suture, stitches, and staple removal
- Removal of casts and splints
- Basic first aid
- Computer and EMR knowledge are also necessary
